There are membership grades that one may apply for and honorary membership grades that are awarded to clients based on their sailing achievements.

* The “Worth Her/His Salt” award (WHSA) is automatically awarded to any skipper who returns from his first trip without crew injury, boat damage or third party damage Her/His current grade is annotated accordingly (e.g. WHSA Saronic Section member or WHSA Cyclades Section member) and a new card issued
Honorary membership grades are awarded to Skipper Sailors who share the same nautical values with SeaStar Sailing and follow the same code of ethics while at sea :
- Crew Safety above all
- Yacht Safety deserves the extra bother
- Each and every Crew member’s Comfort has priority over Sailing target achievement
- “The Yacht is your cocoon, look after her and she will look after you”
- A neighboring Sailor deserves a smile and a helping hand, if needed
- A Sailing Yacht rewards the skillful and fears the powerful
- Skills of handling power on a Motor boat, should not be used on a Sailing yacht

**Early Check-in is available only if the Yacht has returned from its previous charter with no technical issues
SeaStar Sailing, through the Club, seeks to promote:
- the slogan “Safety at Sea comes First”
- the mutual support and care while at sea, among the Club members
- all nautical knowledge critical to the safety of the crews and the yachts
- the sharing of advise and tips regarding destinations, among the Club members, to the benefit of all holiday making crews
