BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Base: Alimos Marina Athens
Olympic Marine Lavrion		 Embarkation:

Saturday after
18.00 hrs

 Mandatory: the yacht must return at the base on Friday before 17.00 hrs
Charter Period: In week multiples… Disembarkation: Saturday before 08.30 hrs
Insurance Policy: All SeaStar’s yachts are insured in accordance with the Greek legislation, against risks arising from liability to third parties and damage to the hull, machinery and equipment. However, caution must be exercised due to applicable insurance limits and deductible fees (reason for a Security deposit demand as indicated per individual yacht). Sailing Licence Requirement: For a bareboat charter, the Greek legislation as applied by the Hellenic Coast Guard requires that one crew member be a properly licensed sailor (according to MD 3342/13/2004). The compliance of each and every skipper license presented to us will be subject to its approval by the Hellenic Coast Guard. To minimize any risk, we can help by obtaining an opinion prior to each booking.

PAYMENT TERMS

A 50% bank deposit of the charter fee is required within 5 days after our booking confirmation.

The remaining balance of 50% is required four (4) weeks prior to departure, to be deposited to our bank account.

Alternative PAYMENT TERMS
during the COVID-19 PANDEMIC period

A 30% bank deposit of the charter fee is required within 5 days after our booking confirmation.

A payment of 30% is required to be deposited to our bank account, within 45 days after our booking confirmation or six (6) weeks prior to departure, whichever date is earliest.

The remaining balance of 40% is required four (4) weeks prior to departure, to be deposited to our bank account.

CANCELLATION FEES

Bookings cancelled more than 60 days before embarkation, 30% of the total charter fee.

Bookings cancelled between 59 and 31 days before embarkation, 50% of the total charter fee.

Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before embarkation, 100% of the total charter fee.

If the boat is re-chartered for the same period, the cancellation fees will be limited to 30% of the total charter fee.

Alternative CANCELLATION FEES
during the COVID-19 PANDEMIC period

Any traveller truly hindered by the Pandemic (falling ill, flight cancellation, travel ban, obligatory quarantine to travelers, etc) will have the right to obtain a credit VOUCHER for the amount already paid, cancel at no cost the current charter and use the credit Voucher against a new booking for a period of 18 months after the initially scheduled departure date.

If it proves that travelling will continue to be hindered until after this 18 month period, the amount paid will be returned in full to the traveller.
